Asbestosis Diagnosis
It is often difficult to make the asbestosis diagnosis, as well as of mesothelioma, as disorders related to asbestos exposure are very slow to develop.
Long time exposures to asbestos contribute to the development of severe forms of fibrosis, which may result in the transformation of the lung tissue and breathing problems. This condition takes as much as 20 to 30 years to develop, and there is still no effective medicine for it.
