Asbestos
Exposure to asbestos may cuase Mesothelioma, Asbestosis and other dangerous diseases.
This mineral was widely used in construction, ship building and automobile production. In the 1980s, the US government barred it from production as a potentially dangerous material. However, it can still be found in large quantities in homes, which were built in the 1950s through the 1970s.
