Asbestos Levels

Tiny fibers penetrate into the lungs and attack alveoli, which may eventually lose resilience and become less capable of performing their function. The fibers scar the lung tissue and cause permanent inflammatory reactions. The cells may become abnormal, which may result in the appearance of malignant neoplasms.
