Asbestos Floor Tiles
Asbestos floor tiles are not dangerous by themselves, but if they are damaged they release tiny particles that can cause asbestosis, mesothelioma and other disorders in people.
This mineral is present in some construction materials, particularly those used in old houses. These materials include shingles, concrete slabs, plasters, textured paints, coverage of stoves, fireplace ducts and so forth. This does not mean that those who live in old houses are inevitably exposed.
