There exist several remedies for the warts: Imiquimod, podophilin, alpha interferon, podofilox and some other medications. Small warts can be successfully removed by cryosurgery (freezing), electrocautery (burning) or with laser; occasionally, surgery is used to remove large warts. Warts often come back.
