There is anticipation for the hpv vaccination to be released in the near future, HPV can be detected with a pap smear. Scientists are doing research on two types of vaccines against the human papilomavirus. One type is supposed to prevent infections with this virus and genital warts; the other type is designed to treat cervical, vulvar and anal types of cancer. The panacea against the virus has not been found yet, but common and genital warts can easily be removed by special creams, cryosurgery, electrocautery and laser treatment. Large warts are cut off with surgery. Genital warts recur very often and are difficult to heal completely. There is anticipation for the hpv vaccination to be released in the near future, HPV can be detected with a pap smear.
