HPV Research

Hpv research has determined that some strains of this virus lead to cancer, but if diagnosed and removed at an early stage with cryosurgery and cone biopsy it can be controlled. There are more cases of genital human papillomavirus infection than any other STD in the USA. There exist about 70 types of human papillomavirus that are harmless and about 30 types that are spread through sexual contacts and cause various disorders. Hpv research has determined that some strains of this virus lead to cancer, but if diagnosed and removed at an early stage with cryosurgery and cone biopsy it can be controlled.

Usually this infection has no symptoms on the earliest stages and often people don’t know that they transmit the infection to the partners.
