HPV Males

HPV males may have partners that require a colposcopy and pap smear for diagnosis. The other name is human papillomavirus. This disease affects females more frequently than males. The female-to male ratio has been reported to be 1.4:1. The highest incidence of the disorder is found in young adults 15-25 years. It doesn’t become clinically apparent until several months after inoculation with HPV. HPV males may have partners that require a colposcopy and pap smear for diagnosis.

Colposcopy, Pap Smear

The symptom of the disease is pink-to brown papillomatous papules or nodules on the genitalia, perineum, crural folds, and anus. They vary in size and can form large masses. Their growth can extend into the vagina, urethra, cervix, perrirectal epithelium, anus, and rectum. HPV males may have partners that require a colposcopy and pap smear for diagnosis.
