HPV Dysplasia

The most serious threat of hpv, dysplasia on the cervix, can be diagnosed and treated with cryosurgery or a cone biopsy. CIN (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) is very common in women and means development of the abnormal tissue on the cervical surface. It can pass through three stages: CIN 1 (mild), CIN 2 (moderate) and CIN 3 (severe) and lead to cervical cancer in the long run. This condition is often associated with human papillomavirus, especially the most dangerous types: 16, 18, 31 and 45. The abnormalities in the cervix can be detected during the routine Pap smear test. If the results are positive, additional tests are necessary.
