HPV Condyloma

HPV condyloma will sometimes develope into ASCUS detected by a pap smear and can eventually lead to cervical cancer. This disorder is also known as venereal warts; it is the most common STD in the United States. This condition is caused by the human papillomavirus and is very difficult to cure, though sometimes warts disappear by themselves without any treatment. These warts can be easily diagnosed visually: they are flesh-colored bumps in the genital or anal region, which can be soft or firm, large or small, multiple or single and sometimes form large masses looking like cauliflower. They are usually painless and don’t lead to cancer, as other strains of HPV will. HPV condyloma will sometimes develope into ASCUS detected by a pap smear and can eventually lead to cervical cancer.
