HPV Cin

A reading caused by hpv, cin 1, 2, or 3, means carsinoma in situ, and an HPV dna test should be performed anong with the followup pap smear. Cervical dysplasia can be caused by other things besides human papillomavirus (inheritable, due to smoking or birth control pills). The only way to determine if you have the virus is to pass through special tests. Human papilomavirus causes both genital warts and dysplasia. Human papillomavirus 16 causes condyloma planum and if you are infected with this type, you can develop both dysplasia and genital warts. When a woman with dysplasia caused by human papillomavirus has a sex with a man, he becomes infected and can spread the dysplasia causing virus to other women.
