HPV 2

The strain, hpv 2 is one of the 100 strains for the viruses, 30 of these strains are genital and about 5 can cause ASCUS on a pap smear linked to cervical cancer. There exist about 100 types of human papillomavirus and the majority of them are harmless. Types 16, 18, 31, 33, and 35 cause not abnormal changes to the cells of the vagina and cervix. Type 45 and several others cause genital warts. Some people don’t develop genital warts and other problems connected with the virus, others recover soon. It is possible that a person doesn’t have any visual symptoms of the virus, but transmits it to partners, who develop serious problems later.
