Human papilloma virus cancer precursor conditions can be similar to lichen sclerosis and, thus, commonly be diagnosed as human papillomavirus infection. HPVs are a group of more than 100 types of strains. They tend to cause warts on the skin of a person. The germs cause warts that grow on hands and feet, and also those that develop in the mouth and genital area.
