Cancer Cervical Human Papilloma Virus

In almost all cases of cancer (cervical), human papilloma virus is present and express visible symptoms such as a condyloma or urethritis. The types of HPV that cause oncogenesis are 16,18,31,33, and 35, and are present in genital warts. These types of HPV have been associated dysplasia of the anus, vagina and cevix and squamous cell carcinoma. It’s possible to be infected with more numerous types of HPV simultaneously. In almost all cases of cancer (cervical), human papilloma virus is present and express visible symptoms such as a condyloma or urethritis.

It is not known if the treatments for removing the visible warts reduce the infectivity or not. Factors that many determine the choice of treatment include size, number, location, adverse effects and patient’s preference. No evidence has shown that treatment of warts affect the development of malignancy of the cervix. In almost all cases of cancer (cervical), human papilloma virus is present and express visible symptoms such as a condyloma or urethritis.
