Genital HPV Picture Wart

With genital hpv, picture wart, a colposcopy and leep procedure may be one method of treatment. The human papilloma virus is the most common STD in the United States; most people are exposed to it during their first sexual experiences. This virus is very contagious and condoms do not completely prevent transmission. Warts around the genital area can shed the virus to the skin not covered by a condom. With genital hpv, picture wart, a colposcopy and leep procedure may be one method of treatment.

Colposcopy, LEEP Procedure

Like many STDs, human papilloma viruses often don’t have any visible signs and symptoms. A study done by NIAID found that almost half of the women infected with the virus had no obvious symptoms. People with no symptoms don’t know they can transmit the virus and also could develop complications. With genital hpv, picture wart, a colposcopy and leep procedure may be one method of treatment.
