Human papillomaviruses cause condyloma Acuminata that is directly linked to cervical dysplasia. HPVs are a group of more than 100 types of germ strains. They tend to cause warts, which are classified as non-cancerous tumors. Some strains cause common warts that grow on hands and feet. Like many STDs, genital HPV infections may not have visible signs and symptoms. People who are infected but who have no overt symptoms may not know that they can transmit HPV to others.
