HPV Symptom

The hpv symptom that is visible is the genital hpv wart, but cervical dysplasia is detectable only with a colposcopy. The most common discovery of being infected with the virus is through Pap smear testing with women. In both men and women it causes cancers in the head, neck and anus. Some forms of this virus cause cancers of the vulva and cervix in women and the penis in men. Because of this many people are infected with this virus and don’t know it. The types of the virus that have no visible symptoms are termed sub-clinical, which means the virus lives in the skin without any sign or symptom. Not all of the human papilloma viruses cause warts.
