HPV Oral Sex

With the transmission of hpv, oral sex will not usually infect from genital to oral because of the different location specific HPV strains, the high-risk strains usually are found to cause cervical cancer and locate on the cervix only. This is sexually transmitted virus passed from genitals to mouth. A strain that is also found in the oral cavity but is uncommon is Condylomata Acuminata. The lesions of FEH can disappear spontaneously within several months to a couple of years with a strong immune system. Focal Epithelial Hyperplasia (FEH) is specifically associated with the virus types 13 and 32, specifically found only in the oral cavity. The most common locations orally for lesions are on the tongue, inner lips, floor of the mouth and gums. With the transmission of hpv, oral sex will not usually infect from genital to oral because of the different location specific HPV strains, the high-risk strains usually are found to cause cervical cancer and locate on the cervix only.
