HPV Immunity

Some people have hpv immunity and cannot be infected with vaginal wart, lichen sclerosus and other HPV-related disorders. If the low risk strain of the virus is detected without symptoms, only “watchful waiting” is a treatment. An immune system, if healthy, can keep the viruses from spreading and growing, but when weakened, it will allow the virus grow unchecked. Include foods that are high in beta-carotene and folic acid. Diet also plays an important part in prevention. Immune stimulating treatments that strengthen the body’s immune system against the virus seem to work the best. The Human papilloma virus is not curable but it is possible to manage the virus.
