HPV Dating

When infected with hpv, dating should be a concern because cryosurgery and colposcopy treatment doesn't eliminate the virus; it is still transferable to the partner. Because it can affect the skin surrounding the genitals, condoms offer little protection. This virus is very infectious and partners of people that have visible signs are almost always infected themselves. Most people that have the infection have no idea that they carry the virus, and only 1% have visible warts. When infected with hpv, dating should be a concern because cryosurgery and colposcopy treatment doesn't eliminate the virus; it is still transferable to the partner.

Cryosurgery, Colposcopy

75% of sexually active 15-49 year olds have or have had the wart virus. This sexually transmitted disease (STD) is the most common in people of the ages between 20-24. There are more than 100 types of the Human Papilloma virus, and about 30 of these infect the genital area. When infected with hpv, dating should be a concern because cryosurgery and colposcopy treatment doesn't eliminate the virus; it is still transferable to the partner.
