High Risk HPV

There are about 5 genital strains of high risk hpv that may develop into cancer and approximately 30 other genital strains of the human papillomavirus wart group. The Human Papilloma Viruses with the higher ratings don’t have symptoms and are usually detected by a pap smear test. In most cases people never show any symptoms, or may develop them in an area where you can’t see—such as in the vaginal canal or on the cervix. It is not uncommon for a person with the Human Papilloma Virus to have more than one strain of the virus.
