HPV Sexually Transmitted Disease

Other more serious types of the genital strains of the virus are associated with cancer. These types are 16, 18, 31, and 45, and cause dysplastic tissue that is usually flat and nearly invisible to detect. These genital strains are only transmitted through skin to skin contact, usually sexual encounters.
