HPV Man Test

HPV Man Test

HPV man test is generally a penile swab to find abnormal cellular changes, while women have a Pap smear that can reveal vaginal dysplasia or ASCUS. Most males that have contracted Human papilloma virus have no symptoms or health risks even with the higher risk types of virus. Testing among men for the virus is rarely done except for research. Most sexually active adults, at some point in their lives will be infected with the virus. Human papilloma virus has been found as the cause of virtually all cervical cancers. Men can transmit the disease even though they show no symptoms. Condoms will not protect against transmission of the virus. People are usually infected with the virus in places the condoms don’t cover.
