Herpes Penis

Herpes penis virus is sexually transmitted; women often have vaginal discharge and other viruses including genital wart viruses. If the virus that causes this infection has once been acquired, it will settle in the nerve cells and become dormant. When activated, the virus will travel to skin and cause sores on the genitals and around the anus accompanied by itching and burning. Sometimes, however, there are no lesions on the genitals.
