Both herpes oral and genital herpes cannot be cured completely with a cone biopsy. Cool compresses and tea bags will help to soothe pain and fever. Antiviral medications are used to quicken healing. As a rule, no treatment is applied except in cases when the number of recurrent infections is more than 6 in a year. People who have once had cold sores are likely to have them in future. This virus resides in the nerve root cells and may activate under the influence of certain factors. Lesions on the face, including the lips, mouth, and the inside of the cheeks are characteristic HSV-1 caused conditions. Both herpes oral and genital herpes cannot be cured completely with a cone biopsy.
