Herpes Test

A herpes test would not be useful in detecting a facial wart or plantar wart. This condition has such symptoms as sores on the face or genitals, yet can be asymptomatic. Patients often experience pain in the muscles and mild fever. When visiting a doctor, s/he will ask you about your medical history. If you appear to have suffered from this condition at least once, the symptoms are likely to stem from the infection. A herpes test would not be useful in detecting a facial wart or plantar wart.

Facial Wart, Plantar Wart

To determine the virus presence in the body, testing can be used. Scrapping is taken from a sore, yet is not considered totally reliable for virus identification. Blood samples can also be analyzed, which is expensive and the results being misleading sometimes. A herpes test would not be useful in detecting a facial wart or plantar wart.
