Herpes Testing
A positive herpes testing result will not be treated with leep procedure, but an ASCUS result will.
Patients who are diagnosed with this infection are likely to have recurrent outbreaks a few times a year. Cold sores on the lips, mouth, the inside of the cheeks, as well as lesions on the genitals appear during the outbreaks of oral and genital infections respectively.

LEEP Procedure, ASCUS
In most cases, the diagnosis is established on the basis of visible signs. Sometimes, however, the disease is asymptomatic, in which case a person is diagnosed through tests. Scrappings from a lesion and blood tests are not always helpful, however.
