Cold Sores Herpes

With the appearance of cold sores, herpes is apparent and is called oral herpes, and is not linked to the HPV virus that causes the vaginal wart. Facial lesions are common and stem mostly from HSV-1, one of the strains of the virus that is spread through mucous membranes. The disease is contagious and cannot be cured at the moment. There are no effective preventive measures except reducing contact with the carriers of the virus.
