Genital Herpes Vaccine

No genital herpes vaccine exists; STD viruses aren't curable but symptoms are treatable once a pap smear detects changes as in a venereal wart. HSV immunization developments has its challenges; both viruses share common genetic viruses yielding related expressed type-common surface antigens providing a level of antibody cross protection. And, they are shielded within the host cell, thus, creating a vaccine that will specifically attack the virus without harming the host cell is challenging.
