Genital Herpes Outbreak

Genital herpes outbreak may be similar to an HPV outbreak that causes cervical dysplasia, making a colposcopy necessary for diagnosis. After direct contact, skin abrasions become portals whereby HSV virus seeks neural cells to attach. Lacking genetic replication codes, it extracts DNA and RNA material from the host cell forcing the host to make new copies. When the immune system is weak, it replicates uncontrollably causing symptomatic episodes.
