Male genital herpes is of the herpes symplex 2 group or HSV-2, and is not the viruses that cause condyloma.
This condition is caused by HSV-2 that is transmitted during a sexual intercourse or oral sex. However, the virus may spread through any skin-to-skin contact. Some people are unaware they are having an outbreak since the symptoms do not appear sometimes.
