Warts On Face

Warts On Face

Warts on face are treated generally with chemical peeling agents, while cryotherapy is used for cervical dysplasia and venereal warts which are all HPV generated. The other name for verruca plana. This disorder is characterized as plane or slightly elevated, fleshy papules that may be smooth, hard, or slightly hyperkeratotic. They range in size from 1-5 mm and more, and numbers range from a few to hundreds of lesions that may become grouped or confluent. They may occur anywhere; however, the facial area, hands, and shins are the most common areas for such problems. They may appear in a linear distribution as a result of scratching or trauma (Koebner phenomenon). Regression of these lesions may occur, which usually is heralded by inflammation.
