The source for emergence of warts, hpv infection can also cause vaginitis which can be confused with other STDs, therefore, a cone biopsy may be necessary to discriminate source of vaginal disorder. The other name is condyloma acuminatum. This disease affects females more frequently than males. The female-to male ratio has been reported to be 1.4:1. The highest incidence of GW is found in young adults 15-25 years. Condiloma acuminatum doesn’t become clinically apparent until several months after inoculation with human papillomavirus. The symptom of the disease is pink-to brown papillomatous papules or nodules on the genitalia, perineum, crural folds, and anus. They vary in size and can form large masses, their growth can extend into the vagina, urethra, cervix, perirectal epithelium, anus, and rectum.
