Wart Treatments

Wart treatments are aimed at removal, while Pap smear may detect symptomless HPV strains that will require similar or more aggressive treatment. Cure is aimed mostly at destruction of the growths rather than elimination of the virus. Subclinical infection may be lifelong, and there is no remedy. People infected with hpv should always use condoms so as to not transmit the virus to uninfected partners. There is no ideal remedy for all cases and all patients. Wart treatments are aimed at removal, while Pap smear may detect symptomless HPV strains that will require similar or more aggressive treatment.
