Wart On Face

A wart on face is HPV but will not cause vaginitis or need a cone biopsy. Described as HPV induced lumps cropping out on the anterior epidermal layer of the head such as the cheeks. Commonly exhibited in the beards of men and in cheeks of children. These growths may look like colonies of reddish-pink pinheads. Sometimes they disappear untreated particularly in children. Because of their number and miniscule size, individual treatment would result in nonsuccess. Thus, daily topical medications that "peel" methods like salicylic acid, tretinoin, glycolic acid or other surface solutions are often advised. Where resistance is greater as with adults, frequent office visits for surgical procedures may be necessary. A wart on face is HPV but will not cause vaginitis or need a cone biopsy.
