Plantar Wart
A plantar wart is not treated with a cone biopsy or colposcopy.
Some lumps appear on the bottom of the foot in a clustered mosaic pattern with seed-like black dots in the center. These condylomatas have been described as very uncomfortable like a stone in one’s shoe. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is cause of these.

Plantar Wart -
Cone Biopsy, Colposcopy
Unlike common condylomata treatments, these foot ailments are below the skin and, thus, difficult to treat. Surgical treatments--laser, electrosurgery, or cutting-- Salicylic acid plaster and application of other chemicals may be used to treat these foot ailments. Changing footwear and keeping the foot dry is recommended.
