In the treatment of genital warts, photo enhancement of the suspicious area can assist physicians performing cryotherapy for cervical dysplasia. The other name is condyloma acuminatum. This disease affects females more frequently than males. The female-to male ratio has been reported to be 1.4:1. The highest incidence of GW is found in young adults 15-25 years. Condyloma acuminatum doesn’t become medically apparent until several months after inoculation with HPV. The symptom of the disease is pink-to brown papillomatous papules or nodules on the genitalia, perineum, crural folds, and anus. They vary in size and can form large masses, their development can extend into the vagina, urethra, cervix, perirectal epithelium, anus, and rectum.
