An anal wart picture may also point to vulvar vestibulitis, which is not treatable by a cone biopsy. Genital condyloma manifests around the rectal area and may be unnoticeable. HPV, primarily spread through sexual contact, initiates these cellular changes. Anal intercourse, cervical dysplasia, and HIV infected men carry greater risk for ano-genital cancer (four times more for women because they carry HPV-16, a high-grade cancer causing HPV strain). Vulvar Vestibulitis, Cone Biopsy

Regular screening among high-risk candidates is critical in establishing early treatment with medications, immune enhancers, antiviral agents, and surgical procedures or in combinations. Cytology of abnormal cells requires further investigation with a higher resolution anoscopy and biopsy of suspicious tissues. If suspicious of having these, consult a physician. An anal wart picture may also point to vulvar vestibulitis, which is not treatable by a cone biopsy.
