Any venereal wart is a result of inoculation with human papilloma virus; genital wart is not as dangerous as cervical cancer, but it may cause considerable difficulties. Genital condyloma can be treated using any of the following: immune enhancers, chemical applications, and surgical procedures such as laser, electrosurgery, or excision. Prolonged exposure to HPV and immuno-suppressors put genital HPV sufferers at risk for developing cancer, therefore, it is important to discover and treat HPV early through screening.
