General Warts

General warts, penile wart and other lesions on the skin are diagnosed visually; only vaginal disorders are diagnosed with pap smear. Caused by the human papilloma virus, it is infectious, and autoinoculable. Condyloma acuminatum usually occurrs on the mucous membrane or skin of the external genitals or in the perianal region; although the lesions are usually few in number, they may group to form large cauliflower-like masses. Penile Wart, Pap Smear

Another name is verruca. The condition is characterized by lobulated hyperplastic epidermal growths with a horny or flat surface caused by a human papillomavirus, transmitted by contact or autoinoculation, and usually occurring on the fingers, hands, soles, and face. General warts, penile wart and other lesions on the skin are diagnosed visually; only vaginal disorders are diagnosed with pap smear.
