Plantaris Verruca
Plantaris verruca (foot wart) is caused by a different viral strain of humanpapilloma virus than those that affect the cervix resulting in a positive Pap smear that detects HPV.
This wart is commonly known as a Plantar wart, found on the sole of the feet. They are round-oval skin growths, which can be lighter or darker than the surrounding skin. Often they have pinpoint marks in the center of the growth.

On the soles of the feet they tend to be flat, scaly, and painful. This wart is caused by a strain of the Human Papilloma Virus and is very contagious. The virus cannot be killed and is usually present in warm and moist surfaces, such as shower floors and pools.
