There are different stages of genital warts, the condyloma virus can manifest as a wart or locate on the cervix as dysplasia, or even cause infections such as vaginosis. Human papilloma virus is highly widespread; this is one of the more common sexually transmitted diseases. There are more than 1/3 of college students that are being diagnosed with the virus. Human papilloma virus is spread by skin-to-skin (or mucous membrane to mucous membrane) contact. There are different stages of genital warts, the condyloma virus can manifest as a wart or locate on the cervix as dysplasia, or even cause infections such as vaginosis.

Condyloma, Vaginosis

The virus usually needs several months to reveal itself. The 'bumps' usually appear 1-3 months after exposure, but may be as long as 3-6 months or longer. You may never see these small lesions, as they are difficult to examine.
