Genital warts, male and female carriers alike, may develope ASCUS readuing when tested for dysplasia, and will often have more than on type of the hpv virus such as the plantar wart. The researches have shown that there is a close link between these types of HPV and cancer of the cervix. Unlike all other viruses this one travels into the nerve cells, HPV is localized in the skin.
