Genital Test Wart

Initial HPV genital test, wart is swabbed for cytology interpretation; such tests for facial wart, HPV type, is not needed unless persistant. Pap smears are the first step in determining the presence of abnormal cell changes in the cervix and in the anus. Pap smears collect cells, called squamous cells, from the surface of your cervix or anus, the area that is most commonly affected by the virus. Facial Wart, HPV

Colposcopy is another way of examining your cervix to determine the presence of HPV. This procedure makes it possible to identify any abnormal tissue on the cervix. Lesions and inflammation are usually visible during coposcopy. A biopsy is necessary to determine between mild lesions and those that are cancerous.
