Penile Genital Warts

Visible signs of HPV such as penile genital warts are not as common as those in women, nor is cancer screening and treatment such as cryotherapy for cervical dysplasia. Visible signs of HPV are less common in men than in women. However, lesions can occur on the scrotum (the sac that holds the testicles), the tip or shaft of the penis, and skin surrounding the genital area. Difficulty in urination (urethra, or penis), bleeding, and irritation are some symptoms. Visible signs of HPV such as penile genital warts are not as common as those in women, nor is cancer screening and treatment such as cryotherapy for cervical dysplasia.

Cryotherapy, Cervical Dysplasia

In men HPV is rarely associated with any type of cancer causing strains (only 1% of all male cancers). The penis or anal region is where anogenital condyloma usually appears. These growths are very visible to the naked eye, and are the most frequent type that men contract. Visible signs of HPV such as penile genital warts are not as common as those in women, nor is cancer screening and treatment such as cryotherapy for cervical dysplasia.
