The early genital stage wart is not dangerous and doesn't even require treatment; a colposcopy exam helps to determine the severity of the problem; abnormal vaginal discharge is not usually related to having genital warts. The subclinical types are also spread this way (HPV types with no symptoms). It is usually contracted by sexual contact and symptoms may appear within three weeks to twelve months. The infection is spread by direct contact with another person’s skin.
