Leep Proceedure
The leep proceedure is performed to remove the disorders caused by the human papillomavirus or HPV.
It is important to treat this condition before it turns into cervical cancer, which is more difficult to cure. Abnormal tissues in moderate and severe stages of cervical dysplasia can be treated by several other methods: cryosurgery, laser removal, cone biopsy and some others.
