Leep Cervix
A leep cervix procedure allows to remove verruca, warts and the cause of abnormal vaginal discharge.
Other methods for treating cervical dysplasia are cryosurgery and laser surgery. Slight discomfort during the operation is possible and itching, pain, vaginal discharge may be experienced for several days after it. The procedure can be performed in the office or outpatient surgery with local anesthesia.

Abnormal cells are removed with a thin wire loop carrying an electrical current. A loop electrical excision procedure is performed if a Pap smear test has shown the presence of the abnormal cells in the cervical area and they have been examined by a colposcopy.
