Cervical Leep Procedure
A cervical leep procedure is used to remove wart and other disorders caused by human papilloma virus.
This process takes about 20-30 minutes. This process also allows your physician to send the removed lesions to a lab for further evaluation which determines if the whole abnormal area was removed, and allows for a more accurate assessment of the abnormal area, specifically if cancer is present.
