Colposcopy Test
A colposcopy test (exam) is not uncommon to provide more accurate interpretation or excision procedure of a venereal wart (genital wart).
This is a frequently used exam after an abnormal Pap smear, with cervical dysplasia present. It’s where a special microscope is used to view the dysplastic areas on the cervix so biopsies can be taken right from those areas. The sample is then sent to a lab for further assessment.
